What Is SEO Optimizers?
SEO Optimizers is a digital marketing company in Venice, California, founded by Brandon Leibowitz in 2007. It runs search engine optimization, Google Ads and social campaigns for small and mid-sized businesses across the United States. Most accounts are handled by the founder rather than by an account team.
Who You Actually Work With

The office is on Rose Avenue in Venice, and it is the only one.
Brandon Leibowitz founded the company and still runs client accounts himself. Most clients deal with him directly rather than through an account manager who relays questions to somebody else.
He also teaches free SEO and AI workshops around Los Angeles, speaks at search conferences, and wrote a book on building authority through podcast appearances. The teaching is not a side project. Being able to explain the work in plain language is how a client can tell whether an agency is doing anything at all.
“Brandon at SEO Optimizers is extremely knowledgeable and a true expert when it comes to SEO. He made the process simple and easy to understand, and his strategies really helped us optimize our online presence.”
★★★★★ Justin Weiner, verified Google review
A small team handles implementation. The strategy, meaning the decision about what gets worked on and in what order, comes from Brandon.
Our experience
How We Decide What to Work On First
Every plan starts with your own analytics rather than a template. We look at what already ranks, what already converts, and where the gap between those two sits.
That order matters. A business that ranks well but converts badly does not need more traffic, and buying more visitors only makes the existing problem more expensive.
This is the table we walk clients through before quoting anything.
| What you are seeing | Usual cause | Where we start |
|---|---|---|
| Traffic arrives but nobody buys | Pages do not convert | Conversion rate optimization |
| Almost no organic traffic at all | Site is not indexed, or has no pages worth ranking | Website audit |
| Rankings climbed, then stalled | Not enough authority for a competitive category | Link building |
| Invisible on Google Maps | Weak business profile and inconsistent listings | Local SEO |
| You need leads this month | Nothing organic moves that fast | Google Ads |
“Before we started, we weren’t showing up on Google for important keywords like home remodeling and kitchen renovation, but within a few months, we started seeing real improvements in our rankings and website traffic.”
★★★★★ Chen Briga, verified Google review
Sometimes the recommendation is to spend less. If the rankings are fine and the pages are not converting, more traffic is the expensive way to solve the wrong problem.
What We Will Tell You Not to Do
Being direct about this saves everyone time, and it is the part most agency pages leave out.
We drop a channel when it stops paying its way, including a channel we are being paid to run. Social media rarely produces direct leads for the businesses we work with, so we say that rather than selling a package that will not pay back.
If you need customers within thirty days, search is the wrong channel and paid advertising is the honest answer.
If you are not willing to change anything on your website, there is very little any SEO company can do for you. The work happens on the site.
And nobody can guarantee a first-page ranking. Google does not sell placement, so a guarantee means either a misleading promise or terms so obscure that ranking for them is worthless.
“Brandon has always been clear and honest in his communication, which has made the entire process easy for us. The campaigns have consistently performed very well, and we truly appreciate the care, professionalism, and knowledge he brings to his work.”
★★★★★ Adriana Otal, verified Google review
Who We Work With
We have worked with corner shops and Fortune 100 brands, local service businesses and online stores. A plumber in the San Fernando Valley and a national retailer need different plans, but both are judged on the same number: what a customer costs to acquire.
Many of the reviews above come from owners who sat in a free workshop long before they ever became clients, which is the pipeline we would rather have than a cold call list.
Where to Start
If you already know which problem you have, the table above points at the right page. If you do not, start with the free website analysis and we will tell you which channel is worth your money first.
Businesses that want search, ads and social run as one plan rather than three separate vendors should look at our digital marketing page.
Owners who would rather learn the work and do it themselves are welcome at the free classes, which is genuinely a fine outcome for us.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does an SEO company do?
An SEO company improves where your website appears in search results and how much of that traffic turns into customers. The work splits into three parts. Technical health lets search engines crawl and index your pages. Content makes those pages match what people actually search for. Authority, built through links and mentions on other sites, decides whether you can compete for the harder terms. A good one tracks which keywords produce leads, not just which ones rank.
What should you expect from an SEO agency?
Expect an SEO agency to begin with an audit of your site, keyword and competitor research, and a written plan showing what gets fixed and in what order. Expect monthly reporting on rankings, traffic and leads, plus a named person you can reach. You should not expect guaranteed positions or instant results. Ask for a list of what was actually done each month. An agency that cannot explain that in plain language is a warning sign.
How do you choose an SEO company?
Choose an SEO company by asking who will do the work, what they would change first, and how they measure success. Ask whether the person in the sales meeting is the person who will run your account, because at many agencies it is not. Ask for the reasoning behind their first ninety days rather than a list of services. Read reviews from clients in your own industry. A company willing to say what it will not do is usually the more honest one.
How long do you need to work with an SEO company?
Most SEO work needs three to six months before results show clearly, and competitive markets take longer. Technical fixes can move things within weeks, because you are removing something that actively holds the site back. Content and links compound more slowly. Stopping after two months usually wastes the money already spent, since the early work is groundwork that pays off later. Ongoing work makes sense for as long as the return holds up.
Is hiring an SEO company worth it?
Hiring an SEO company is worth it when search already sends buyers to your competitors and you lack the time or in-house skill to compete for them. It is not worth it if you need customers this month, because paid ads answer that faster. It is also not worth it if you will not change your website, since that is where the work happens. The real test is whether people search for what you sell in volume.
